How to Install your Root Quencher® Starter Irrigation Kit

Connect to a water source hose bib or hose

Use teflon tape to seal the connection between your timer and the bib/hose

Connect the flange to the timer and then the drip-line to the other end

Lay out your drip line in your bed, circling around plants and trees

Staple down your line

Choose a Root Quencher for a tree or fruit tree install just inside the drip-line of the tree

Choose shrubs or groupings of plants to install your Jr’s T’s are included to splice into your dripline to install the Root Quencher and Jr’s

Install Spikes for groupings of vegetables or flowers straddling the drip line piercing it to allow water to flow in

Download the Rachio app and setup your hose end timer (about 15 minutes)

Setup a zone and test your installation this is the time to set the flow controls on the Root Quenchers and Jrs as well as check the connection and adjust the flow for the Spikes
