Compatible Replacement Adapter Options
Direct Drive Adapter
Compatible with 7/8" direct drive shaft powerheads.
Threaded Adapter
Converts 4-inch or larger Heavy Duty augers for use with threaded shaft drills, including Stihl® BT45-style units.
7/16" Quick Attach Adapter
Designed for drills with a 7/16" quick-attach chuck. Enables fast, secure, keyless installation.
1/2" Hex Adapter
Fits standard 1/2-inch drill chucks for broad compatibility.

Can I use a Root Quencher®️ if I don’t have a sprinkler system?
Yes. You can connect it directly to a hose bib, and timers are available for easy scheduling on IDI.
Can I install the Root Quencher in a drip system?
Yes. It connects easily to a ½" drip line using a barbed connector (included). You may just need a T connector and to balance water flow.
Can I fertilize using the Root Quencher?
Yes, the Root Quencher is designed for liquid or granular fertilizers as well as pest treatments very effectively.
